Welcome to the PAVUC website.
The main goal of the project is to contribute to the sustainable development of the bio-diverse fruit sector in marginal rural areas of tropical America. Through:
  • Strengthening the informal production chain dedicated to the commercialisation of under-utilized fruits with high nutritional and functional potential;
  • Creating innovative and more efficient appropriate technologies that will allow optimal assessment of their potential;
  • Diversification and development of new non perishable products of high quality that will meet niche market demands in the global system of international trade.
